I got one of these for Christmas. When I opened the package, I thought it would be another one of those gifts that gets put away and forgotten, but I decided to try it before I put it away.

As it turns out, this is one of my favorite gifts. The tails of the fish move, making them look alive. The blue light is soothing and adds to the real look of the fish. The fish are constantly swimming and really look alive. Even better, the aquarium doesn't have to be cleaned and the fish don't have to be fed. I love it!!

I love this type gadget, and for the last few months it has kept me company at my desk. It is pretty neat to watch and is in a way soothing. I had one and its motor burned out. I got a second on, and for the last few months it has been running fine, but again, the motor burned out. I guesstimate the first one lasted about 300 hours and the second one lasted about 375 hours. I am unsure if I want to get a third. I am thinking of getting one and trying to run it 24/7 to see if this one burns out too after 300-400 hours. It is not like I abused it, nor was it running all the time, but I am disappointed in its quality.

A cute little conversation piece. Other than a little annoying hum from the motor that drives the magnet, it is a fun little toy.

I purchased this item for myself to use in my office. When it arrived I quickly set it up and was amazed at the quality of this little aquarium! It's a classy looking little set up! It's very easy to get going, very user-friendly, with the option to run on batteries or powered by a PC. Turn on the motor to make the fish move, turn on the soothing blue light, or use them both together. I find that just using the light is soothing in itself and the fish still move a bit by the natural vibrations in my office. Even if it doesn't last forever, it is definitely worth the price for the time I DO get out of it in relaxation! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I don't yet know the longevity of the product. Enjoy yours!

This is not great. It is cheap, looks cheap, and works cheap. The noise level from it fluctuates from nice to too loud and would wake anyone up. The lights in it are either off or on. And when on they change colors...really fast! Nothing soothing about that at all. To think that I had to buy a usb plug adapter to use in the wall outlet for this junk makes me sad. I guess I will have to find something else for my son's room to use as a night light.
Unfortunately, not a great buy.

I didnt think it was as small as it is...the motor deosnt run great, but its still cute sitting on my desk!

It did not work of the batteries at all.
The whole think is broken after one month of use.
