I bought this to stop wandering eyes from seeing the confidential material that I deal with every day. It works great. A person has to come right up to you to see what you have on your screen. What a relief!

Haven't purchased this product, since there was no dimensions of the product listed in the product description. The star was for the product description, not the product itself! So, I asked one of the vendors, and got the reply as: The dimensions are 10.65" Height x 13.31" Width. Hope it helps.

It is great to have when you do not what your co-workers looking at your work screen. All they see is the dark screen when they are walking by, the only way for someone to see your screen is if they are standing directly behind you. It was money well sent!

This is a great product at a great price, i shopped around a bit but have to say this is by far THE best i have seen and would recommend to anyone. Received it super fast and have no complaints.

I sit at a desk with my back to "the world" and didn't like that people could come up behind me and read my screen before I noticed they were standing there. I bought this to cut down on my screen visibilty by passersby, which it does, but it definitely does not help with glare and may even add to it. If you have a glare issue as well, this definitely is not your monitor cover.

Unlike some people, I don't smoke and I'm not much of a social butterfly. So when I need a break at work, I generally get online and read the news or peruse through various, work appropriate websites. One day while I was taking a break, an associate spotted me on the internet, told my boss, and I was spoken to about using the internet on company time. That's when I got this privacy filter. Alleluia. I can take my 15 minute break in peace. I'm more relaxed during work- not fearful of who is looking over my shoulder- and as a result, more productive. I highly recommend this product for the peace of mind it provides!

I work in cube land and this does not block anything. It simply slightly dims the screen. It does not distort at all.

I just received this "privacy" filter (should be called film) and it DOES NOT work. It does a good job of tinting the screen from a side angle, but DOES NOT black it out as the picture and description would lead you to believe. Although reading what is on the screen may be difficult, from the side angle, being able to tell what web page you are on wouldn't be difficult. If I could take pictures and attach them I would. This "filter" does NOT black out the screen from even an extreme side angle. I will chalk this one up to a lesson learned and check things like this out in the store before buying online.
