About the Author

Carolyn Zellers attended Miami University and Ohio University, graduating with a BFA degree. Over the years, she has taught art at the high school level, worked as a production editor for a publishing business and as an art director for an advertising firm on Cape Cod. Her computer skills were developed during the early years of computer desktop publishing. With fifteen years experience in computer layout and design, she continues to freelance as a designer and graphic artist for Brainwaves™ Books and maintains a few web sites for clients as well as her school’s web site.

Currently, Carolyn is an Instructional Technology Specialist for the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District and works with students in grades four through eight at the Nathaniel H. Wixon Middle School in Dennis, MA.

The book wsa ok but didn't really flow well, nor did it have great upper grade level concepts. I can see using a few of the examples they gave, but overall I was rather disappointed in the examples. There was more covered then just spreadsheets, so it would have made a good beginning concepts for computer usage, but not enough concrete high interest spreadsheet examples.
