...Yes, these eyeglasses definitely reduce eyestrain. They're tinted so they do reduce the brightness/contrast. Not fantastic for working with graphics since the color does get distorted, but great for the typical office-type software user. I actually where them over my bifocals (or contacts) to avoid having to tilt my head for long periods with regular reading glasses. They're ok, not uncomfortable but not super light weight like others. The lenses are not scratch-protected and despite the not-so-gorgeous frame, they standup to some rough handling. The nose pads do pop-off but are easy to put back in place. Don't think you'll make a fashion statement --- the lenses create that "Coke Bottle" effect. Definitely utilitarian for us geeks who spend 10+ hours in front of the computer/day.
