I am thrilled with this computer. Unbelievable for the price I paid.

And though the specs don't mention it, mine came with a lightscribe capable drive, when I thought I was getting only a DVD-RW. It has a floppy drive, too, which the specs don't mention. The keyboard and mouse were genuine Dell. The keyboard even has media player controls. Can't say anything about the speakers, as my monitor has integrated speakers and I haven't connected the included ones. They are basic powered generic speakers.

The only thing I could possibly have wanted that it doesn't have is a modem, but I knew that before I ordered it.

The shipping was fast, the packing excellent, and there were only a few small scuffs on the case, but since it is sitting on the floor under the desk, that is totally insignificant. What matters is how this system works, which is amazingly.

I would recommend a system from this vendor to anyone!

I ordered this using my credit card, took them 5 days to work out correctly billing it, then posted the item as ordered several times. It finally arrived, after canceling their multiple orders myself, and the case was clean and without damage. I spent an entire morning trying to get it hooked up and running. It turned on, pretty bright screen, popped up a CPU failure and turned black. Total running time less than 5 minutes. It never came back, no matter what was done. The thing NEVER WORKED. When recrating it I found old spider webs filling the case fins on top. It took them several days to respond to my return request, and 10 days after they got it back I got a partial refund. Yes, I got to pay the shipping to me and back to them for an item that NEVER WORKED. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I'm out over $70.00 for this piece of trash.

1) Can't update outdated drivers because they are generic Intel drivers and the intel site can't update them.
2) Sound card went Kapoot and doesn't work,
3) also the DXDIAG says there isn't a sound card detected. There is one, it was working at first.
4) Cooling fan doesn't work. Hasn't since Sept 2009 when I ordered it.
5) Because the drivers are outdated, the computer auto reboots itself when I try to play games on it.

It came exactly on the tracking date, was well-packed, my machine did not even have a scratch on it. It is super fast! I am very pleased as I continue to explore my machine and what it can do. I've only scratched the surface. This is my first refurbished machine and for the price, it is a great deal. Easy to hook up. Good stuff!

Couldnt be happier. The delivery was very fast. The computer I got is immaculate and It is VERY fast. Im getting a new 24in HD LCD moniter to go with it. HAPPY NEW YEARS to me....BUY ONE.

The old system that my wife uses gives me a strong urge to take a hammer to it when I try to go on line so I started a search and was skeptical of the system just based on the identified specs of the system and the cost, I have to think twice when a system comes with 3GB RAM, a 3GHz chip and a 1TB HD for only $337 and the word "refurbished" worries me but I figured I could send it back if it was not as advertized. I got it, plugged it in and loaded all of the software I have / use and have had no problems with it for the year I've owned it. It was shipped quickly and no issues / damage on arrival. I would buy it again.

The computer arrived timely and well packed. Super easy to set up and it was ready to go with everything working just as described. As others have said, it came with several programs already installed in addition to the Windows 97 for refurbished computers (anti-virus, program similar to Microsoft Office, and several others). I did add Microsoft Office as the office program on the computer wasn't compatible with other Microsoft programs I use.

I'm using speakers and keyboard I already had as although they are supplied with the system and they work fine, they are fairly inexpensive.

I e-mailed the company with a question and had an answer within 24 hours. It does everything we need it to do for a family computer. I would recommend this system.
