Best Music Magazine Ever Created to Date for Computer Base Production , February 21, 2009
I am a hobbyist that has been dabbling with electronic and computer base music for more then 20 years. I have preformed as a rap artist, DJ, and producer in the Urban/Rap arena; as well as, provided tracks to the rockers, R&B and country singers in my area. Since I never played on the school band or had piano lesions when I was younger, my thirst for knowledge was satisfied by reading and observing. Over this time I have encountered many interesting and informative publication, but believe me when I say that this magazine is the most complete, easiest to follow, and provide the best tools and information for the beginners, as well as, the season professional in the area of computer music production.
First of all, this magazine covers everything associated with computer base music, ranging from the "How To" and software tutorials, to reviews and upgrades. If a picture is worth a thousand words than this magazine says volumes, because the design and the many photos are burtsting with colors and well placed to help bring the points across. The software that it covers in detail in each issue is vast. They tell you how to setup the software, how to get started with the software, and then they provide some projects to allow you to get familiar with the software. Even if you are a little weak with the computer skills, they make it a lot easier by providing you with step by step trouble shooting procedures and suggestions. I found their reviews very helpful, in that, they don't just do in-depth useful reviews in laymen's terms for the software, but they also do a great job on reviewing computer hardware that is installed or interfaces with computer to streamline music production. I can't say enough about how great the context of this magazine is, but there is still more it provides.
At about $16 to $20 per copy of this magazine from your local vender you might find it surprising for me to tell you that this is a great deal, but I have to go a little further than that and tell you that this is an excellent deal. Even though this is a European base magazine shipped to the US, I agree that this fact along with everything I've said about this magazine doesn't justify the high price, but I have more. This magazine comes with a demo disc packed full of goodies. From month to month, this disc comes fresh with tools, enhancements, virture instruments, recording software, music packs, real-time tutorials, sample packs, software, and much more all with this magazine. The disc usually contain a lot of material that the magazine discuss, enabling the readers to be able to try out the products and do techniques & tutorials with hands on learning. I feel the disc alone is worth more than the going price for the magazine, but with the powerful contents of the articles in the magazine along with the integrated hands on disc, I think that you would agree that this deal is amazing.
Most of the time, where I live, I have trouble finding this magazine. Matter of fact, the only place I've seen the magazine was at Barns & Noble book store, where you have to get it the first week or two after it goes on sale, because it sell out pretty quick. That's one reason why I am starting a subscription to this magazine as a way to get around the hunt for it and to assure that I have a copy every month. The other reason is that it is about $7 cheaper per issue if I get a subscription to this magazine.
Since I'm just getting started with my subscription I don't have any knowlegde of the experience. All I can warn you about is that this is a European company based in England, so if you subscribe to this magazine be extra careful to make sure you give good and precise information such as your address, because it sounds like it is hard to make changes after the mailing starts.
Another thing I would say is that over the past years I have seen several pretty good music magazine popped up and than disappeared just as quick. I plea to you to take the time out to support these magazines or we will see history repeat itself. And like I said before (and stand by it), This is absolutely the best computer base music magazine I've ever encountered, and it will be ashame to see it disappear like so many others.
That is my take on this product. I hope it helps.

Some Problems for this expensive magazine, September 4, 2008
I have two problems with this magazine. They are sending it to a wrong address and I can't get any service. I want it mailed to my PO Box and not to my business address. Since it is published in England and mailed from the United States no one can find me in the system or take care of this simple matter. It is very expensive and I would expect just a little customer service. I'll suffer.
The second issue is that I'm on a Mac. This magazine should have been titled Computer Music That Is 90% for the PC. Since I use my Mac for all kinds of Photoshop and graphics I just assumed that there would be more programs for the Mac. If you are on a Mac I suggest you factor that into you decision to subscribe or not.
