Its is a well organized, well written textbook for a first course in Computer Networks. The exercises, the labs and the companion website are helpful. The book is constantly updated; this 6th edition is no different.

thin book is very unique, top down approach with more emphasize on topper layer make it a good choice for programmer and/or engineers who deal with top layers. if you work in a telecom company or you are a developer in this field this is the right book for you.
