I got the fly fusion for the first time on Christmas. I loved playing with it until my brother dropped it on our wood floor. That was the end of that pen...
The ink wouldn't come out but I can still use it for games when my new when discharges. If you have a kid that breakes things easily this is NOT for you.

Pros: Lots of fun games, Helps me with homework (checking math), can translate words into spainsh, upload all you writing to you computer and can turn it into a work document!

Cons: Like I said before this breaks easily but if you careful it lasts for a while, the first time you charge takes forever (up to 4 hours), the pen is quite big and can feel
uncomfortable in your hand, doesn't have a German translater
The reason I made this a five star rating is because I use it alot and my whole family loves it my dad even wants one now! Its a great tool for school and it has fun games!

I had the first version of the fly pen it is great some people write a review and say oh there's alot of extras to go with it yes you should have chekced that first either way I loved the fly pen when i had the first one and i still love it now and i can't wait to get it in the mail fly pen is great Im in homeschool i can do all my essays and just upload them to the computer can't wait for that im super excited i decided to buy it because i found some old fly paper and pen refills when i had the first one but over all it is a great product

It couldn't read my writing, the special notebook paper is expensive and it just wasn't as good as they say. I returned it!!

This pen requires all types of equipement and extras (i.e. special paper, memberships, etc). You won't find this out until after you purchase it. There is a notebook that came with the pen and it had about 10 pages in it. This paper is required for the pen to record your notes. You'll spend more money on paper then necessary. Not work it.

The product is excellent. It was purchased for my niece to help her with algebra. It is working great. The set was sold as new, but it was not. There was writing on the coupon card holder and the card had expired.

Basically, this is a pen with a camera and speaker on it and NO microphone. The MP3 player is kind of cool, but the speaker is so small and tinny and a headphone cable attached to your pen is not convenient. The pen computer has a lot of built-in simple games (quizzes, hangman, simple puzzles) and you can do some cute things with the camera (draw a piano and then tap the notes to play music within a C scale or draw drums and tap them to play). This is kind of fun, but the excitement quickly wears off and then you have to start buying add-on software. It will also digitize your notes, but something like LiveScribe which records the presenter as your type is much more useful. I discarded this to the drawer after a few hours of exploring what it can do. Perhaps a child might have a bit more fun, but there are much better learning tools out there than this gimmick.

Overall, I think that if they combined their technology with LiveScribe type stuff where you could digitize your notes to the computer with the voice recording, then you'd have something I'd look at again.
