This product provides magnification at the cost of clarity. You can see the circular grooves presumably caused by the Fresnel Lens. I also question how you could possibly "adjust" magnification. Not possible. I doubt you get 2X magnification. It is too expensive for what you get. I also agree with the other reviews that the brackets that hold the magnifier in place are flimsy and not practical.

This item is rickety and of Zero quality. Anyone could slap a plastic magnifying sheet between two aluminum brackets and add wire for holding onto computer screen. Most of all it is OVERPRICED. Magnification is ok, but not exceptional. I must have gotten one that was returned to vendor as no cleaning cloth was included. Difficult to install even with tape, falls off easily. I would not recommend this item to anyone. I will trash this unit so it cannot be sold to another unsuspecting customer.

I bought this for our secretary in our office. We installed it per the minimal instructions and found that it was "rickety". Any small bump to the desk would make it fall off. We returned it the next day via priority mail. I confirmed via email the return instructions. However, the vendor was not very responsive after that. They didn't confirm that they received the item. I went through USPS to confirm that it was delivered. After that I emailed them to ask when my refund would be processed and didn't get any response. Finally, I called them--about three weeks later--and they said that they had just processed my refund.Next time, I will order only shipped from AMAZON merchandise.
