I have researched and pinterested tons of ideas for copper backsplask. I priced out the plastic copper looking pieces ($212), tin with copper paint or iodized plating ($200-$400) and solid copper ($400-800). I saw this and read the review of someone else who made a backsplash out of it. For $40 instead of $400, it was worth the try.

Final outcome: the backsplash looks amazing. I hung a led rope light under the cabinets for extra bling.

Learn from me:
Although the paper sticks well, a spray adhesive before you apply the paper is well worth it. The paper has a tendency to bubble up a little bit afterwards sometimes if in the areas I did not spray.
This paper will wrinkle and stick to itself. Once it does, I could not for the life of me ever get it unwrinkled. However, I finally figured out that the grain pattern is super forgiving. I used a razor blade to cut out wrinkled sections and just slopped up another piece. It worked great and only one of my patch jobs is visible at all. Patch in odd shapes. They blend better than rectangles.
I stuck the wrinkles and extra little pieces on a knife block. It looks amazing. All the little pieces catch the light differently and it looks like shards of copper- love. The extra long strips I had, I covered the top of a black decorative table. Again, as long as the grain pattern all goes the same direction, it blends together and looks amazing. For a jagged, pieced look, change up the grain direction and tear rather than cut the edges.
I put in an order for 5 more rolls. No idea what I'm going to do with them yet- might cover an island or the dishwasher....or my car.

I purchased 2 rolls to cover the front of a fridge. The measurements were accurate and I had no trouble getting in on without bubbles (I used a level as I unrolled it down to make sure it was even and bubble-free). The first roll went on beautifully! I was so excited. Then I went to open the 2nd roll and there was a sticker on the roll making part of the 18" x 6" no good. Add to it, that specific roll was all crinkly and damaged looking. I was not happy. I added a few of the copper tiles down the center seam to make the differences seem intentional but I wish that was not necessary. I think for small projects, if you get the right roll, all will be well. I added 2 rows of those copper tiles above the stove and sink and the overall look of the kitchen is much brighter with an art-deco feel.

I ordered this product for the special purpose of covering the door of a small refrigerator in our RV. This did not work as it is impossible to get it on without wrinkles. We tried various ways but finally gave up. I think for smaller projects it would be fine. And it has a nice copper look. Very metalic. It seems to stretch as you work with it so you need to get it layed on correctly the first time with no wrinkles. It didn't work for our application.

This paper is really pretty. Slightly striated very metallic copper. Unlike most contact paper, this is a very thin sheet of cellophane-like material, backed with a copper coloured foil which is backed with adhesive. The result is a great looking paper that stays smooth and does not wrinkle or bubble much. It easily smooths and is fantastic on flat surfaces, though not supper sticky. If you are trying to wrap something, it will bend at a single edge just fine, but like real metal, corners are an issue and things that are trimmed and need to be molded down will pop back up - it acts like not very sticky plastic in small straight areas. I loved this paper for a flat project, but hated it for wrapping a binder.

I love the look of copper, so I bought and put this copper contact paper on my back splash. It was pretty easy to work with. I t goes down just like any contact paper. I wish it had had a design embossed into it. Maybe even the look on tin tiles. But this time I couldn't find anything like that. Maybe by the time I need to replace it,they will have something like that. I put it on the back splash behind the faux granite paper. My kitchen looks pretty good now. But I think I will refinish the cabinates into Antique white.

Easy to apply and the copper sheet looks fabulous. Some of our friends asked us about the rich looking back splash! We like it a lot.

I purchased the brushed copper contact paper to cover some old Tupperware canisters so they'd go better with my new kitchen cabinets and drawer pulls. It was easy to use, but I did discover that I needed to be very careful with anything sharp, as the paper was easily scratched. I have yet to use the canisters enough to evaluate how well this fix holds up, but so far, it's far less expensive than buying new canisters (if I could find them in copper!)

I used this contact paper to wallpaper my dining room. I think it mostly worked out.
