Product Description

Amazon.com Review

After a wearying day or a long jog, this versatile footbath offers three options (vibration and heat; vibration, heat, and bubbles; or vibration, heat, bubbles, and water-jet action) to soothe tired feet. As if that were not relief enough, the accessories offer even more options. Two rollers snap into the bottom to massage soles with or without water in the bath. A round pumice, a round brush, and a disk massager with bumps can be snapped onto a post in the bath's divider and activated to a spinning motion by applying foot pressure. Finally, atop the green, translucent splashguard are two loofa pads to rub against feet. Made of plastic, sitting securely on rubber feet, and providing wraparound power cord storage, the foot bath measures 17-1/2 by 15-3/4 by 8 inches and is about 3-1/2 inches deep. --Fred Brack

3.0 out of 5 stars A pretty good foot spa but not the best..., October 27, 2001
    By
Mom of Three (Milwaukee, WI United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Conair FB12NR Ultra Massaging Footbath with Water Jet (Health and Beauty)
Pros: 1) This foot spa does have the best water action of the 3 foot spas I've tried (the others were Homedics Bubble Spa Ultra BS-100HDB and Remington Aupressure Foot Spa F-7027). It's the only one I've come across that has water jets which are much more effective than just the bubbles in the other foot spas.
    2) The attachments on this are decent but not as good as the attachments on the Remington. The attachments spin when you apply pressure.
Cons: 1) Needs a more powerful heater to maintain the heat because the agitation causes the heat to leave more quickly than other foot spas I've used. 2) Massage action isn't as good as the Homedics foot spa.
    3) There are rollers on the bottom of the spa bed that you can run your feet over. The rollers have little spikes on them which are somewhat uncomfortable. You can remove them though. The Remington spa also offers the spiky rollers but it has another set which are more comfortable. 4) Attachments could be better. I like the Remington attachments best which includes an attachment of magnetic, metal balls that go up and down and spin. 5) Top doesn't flip back like the Homedics spa.

Bottom line: I loved the water action but the quick loss of temperature, mediocre massage, and better attachments on the Remington mean I wouldn't rate this one as the best. I'm going to try the newest Homedics that has the spinning attachments. The Homedics spa I've used had the best massage and that ended up being the most soothing to my feet. Wish the Homedics had jet action too!!

    5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, April 3, 2001

This review is from: Conair FB12NR Ultra Massaging Footbath with Water Jet (Health and Beauty)
This is the best gift I gave myself in years. This foot bath has everything one can wish: Massage, pleasant vibration, water jet, scrubbing pads, water is continuously warmed. This model is similar to the top of the line model by Homedics, but in my opinion it looks better and is slightly larger. It is built of sturdy and smooth plastic and includes three rotating attachments for pedicure: pumice, brush and massager. Attachments are activated by the foot pressure and require some practice before you feel comfortable with it. The water temperature is maintained a little bit colder than I would choose but still pleasant. I use soaking salts from "Bath and Body Works". Overall this is a heavenly experience after a buisy day if can give yourself 15 minutes after kids go to bed.

    1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, May 19, 2002

Peter J. McAteer (Orchard Lake Village, MI United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Conair FB12NR Ultra Massaging Footbath with Water Jet (Health and Beauty)
This product disappointed me in two important areas: very weak vibration (which I view as the most important element in a relaxing foot treatment), and maintenance of water temperature (the unit could not maintain more than a low tepid temperature)
