5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Foot Spa !!, June 4, 2007
By
This review is from: Conair FB2 Ultra Massaging Heated Foot Spa (Health and Beauty)
This foot spa really heats the water!! It doesnt just keep it warm but actually heats it! I still use warm water to start with but, you can tell when it warms the water beacuse it comes out of the waterfall hot onto your toes!
It only heats the water in the waterfall setting but keeps it warm in the other settings.

I love it so much that I just purchased a 2nd one. I had to replace the one i have had for 2 yrs that my kids broke messing with it.

It vibrates, has bubbles, and heats the water. And it has a waterfall setting that pours water onto the top of your toes! I love it! I have tried at least 5 other spas but they never really kept the water warm. And how you can you relax in cold or luke warm water?

Another thing that i like is that it does not take up alot of space as other ones do. The design is very nice.

4.0 out of 5 stars I love this spa!, February 1, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Conair FB2 Ultra Massaging Heated Foot Spa (Health and Beauty)
You may wonder why I say love and rate it 4 stars, I'll address that at the end of this review, just some little changes that could make this amazing and probably one of the best ones on the market at this price range by far!

I wish this product had more reviews as I was really unsure about purchasing it at first, but from what it is said to do it sounded like the best one I looked at anywhere near this price range.

PROS:
Heats the water: Most over spas I looked at in this price range said they kept the water warm, but everyone's comments said that it barely did this and they had to put in very hot water for a warm bath. The water put out by the waterfall is not only warm... but actually gets to the point of being hot! Not a bad hot at all, once it reached full temperature I went from thinking: "This is decent." to "WOW." (Also the waterfall can be adjusted to different parts of the foot)

Vibration: Very nice vibration. Very strong. It says you can use it dry and just turn on vibration and I can see that working well, but I can't imagine not using this with water at the same time :)

Bubbles: The bubbles feel nice and are not too loud. Another spa I looked at had bubbles that burst from the back and everyone said it was way too loud. I watched a video review and it was like a loud vacuum. Now I know I was not there to personally hear it but I feel that this one is way quieter than the other.

No spill reservoir: You can fill this to the max fill line and then carry it wherever, fully vertical, by the handle and it won't spill any.

Size: This spa is very big, I was worried about foot room in it but it seems like men's sized 13 feet could probably fit in it at the absolute max.

Tilt bar: You can angle it up, the angle is very nice, very comfortable to sit at the computer with my feet in this.

CONS:
Needs to hold more water: Now you could easily put more water in this, I tend to fill it past the max fill line. But at this point I lose the ability to hold it by the handle and carry it one handed.

Requires the spa to be tilted when using waterfall: I do love the tilt. But when I tilt this up for the waterfall it no longer soaks my whole foot unless I adjust the waterfall all the way down to hit just below the tip of my toes. Also a small (VERY SMALL, it didn't even make a mess, only got the spa a little wet on the edges, nothing on the floor) amount of water splashes out when you have it tilted up like this.

Also the massaging things you rub your feet on on the bottom are a little hard to rub your feet up and down on.

I would say this spa was absolutely perfect if I could have it heat / waterfall, bubble, and vibrate all at once while almost fully covering my feet. But even with my cons I'd rate this almost nearly perfect. I wish I could give it a 4.5 stars or a 4.75 stars. I feel sad that Conair doesn't seem to be making new versions of this with various changes.... but if mine ever goes bad I'm sure I'll get it again without much thought to any others :)
