This relaxing foot spa restores the energy back into tired feet in just 10 to 15 minutes and can be used either wet or dry. The six different touchpad controls are large and easy to press with a toe and can be combined to offer 26 varying spa settings. The water jet setting turns on four whirlpool jets, which envelope your feet in a vortex of soothing, swirling water. For more invigorating action, the bubbles setting releases thousands of tiny bubbles from aeration jets along the bottom of the foot bath. You can add gentle vibration for more restorative work on tired, achy feet. The foot spa offers high or low speeds for each of these settings and also provides the option of heat (which is more of a "keep warm" setting so you’ll want to start out with warmer water) with vibration or bubbles. A hinged splashguard partially covers the top of the foot spa and keeps water from splashing onto your floor or carpet. Two circular loofah discs, resting in the splashguard, are available to smooth away calluses and dry patches on feet. As a bonus, this unit ships with a pair of soft gel "footprints" that can be placed over the aeration jets for additional comfort. I dont think there could be a better foot spa than this one. Conair has really made a gem of a footspa. Following is my delight with this footspa.

1. Heat. It does not heat water. However, unless you're soaking your feet in the Arctic or soaking for over 30 minutes, theres no need for the spa to heat the water. I never understood the need for heating the water from cold or maintaining 105 degree temperatores, but if heating of water is a concern for you, I wouldnt get this foot spa.

2. Bubbles. This spa does remarkably well. Many foot spas I've owned (homedics, dr scholls) are very very weak in the bubble department. This spa has good strong bubbles all along your feet. Of course considering your feet are places right on top of where bubbles will come out, dont expect gale force winds to be bubbling on your feet. The bubbles are relaxing, substantial and I have yet to have this clog.

3. Vibration. VERY GOOD! I've owned many footspas and this one is the first that doesnt sound like a train is going through my bedroom. Even on high speed with bubbles and jets this spa is quite quiet. The vibration is powerful and very soothing.

4. Water Jets. This is the centerpiece for this footspa. No other spa has jets of water like a jaccuzzi on your toes. The jets are very relaxing and are a good compliment to bubbles and massage.

5. Bottom of footspa. No spikes!! Thank goodness! Homedics has determined that we want spikes under tired swolen feet. Fortunately Conair thinks differently and my feet arent spiked by an uncomfortable bottom.

6. Splash Factor. Even when overly filled, this spa causes very little splash despite having bubbles, vibration and water jets. Of course with bubbles you will have splash factor, but put a towel under your footspa and your carpet wont get wet.

7. Loofah pads. Just ok, not really good for smoothing rough feet, but pretty relaxing to rub your feet over the pads. Pads are removable for cleaning or if you just dont want to look at them

All in all, a fantastic foot spa and well worth every dime

This is a good investment considering it's price is equal to 2 pedicures (or less!). I fill it with warm water and relax in front of the TV. The bubbles and the jets are quite strong and I liked the fact that it did not splash the water. I add some bath salts or scents to it once in a while and it has not clogged anything in the machine so far. The jets and bubbles are strong enough to give a almost saloon like experience. I sometimes use the pads on top to rub my feet but mostly I have to use a foot scraper if I want to get rid of some dead skin. A nice investment to keep your feet happy!
