Piece of junk,
By A Customer
This review is from: Conair GMT200T Cord/Cordless Dual Volt Head Trimmer (Health and Beauty)
The bearing between the upper and lower blades is made of plastic--designed to wear out after a short period of use, and it does.I will replace mine with a Braun or similar well-made brand.

Best features and most expensive "disposable" on the market,
By Anne (Bay Point, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Conair GMT200T Cord/Cordless Dual Volt Head Trimmer (Health and Beauty)
I purchased this trimmer for my husband a couple of years ago for Christmas. Until then, he had not used any kind of "power tool" on his beard. He was very pleased from the beginning. About a year ago the moving cutter blade began losing its teeth. At first is was just a couple of them, but now he only has a couple of them left, making it nearly impossible to use effectively. I have returned several times to the place I purchased it in hopes of finding a replacement. No such luck. I have as of yet been unable to locate one anywhere and am considering tossing it and getting a new one. "disposable" defined. If the cutters were available (perhaps it is a factory repair only thing??) it couldn't be beat for quality and affordability.

Mediocre and short-lived,

I've used my T200T 50 to 60 times over a few years. It has always been sort of sluggish and quick to fade (and my beard is far from heavy). The thing recently quit altogether. Reason I'm online right now is because I was searching for "troubleshooting conair t200t" and "conair t200t repair." (No luck so far.) I did note that Conair's website does not offer a "contact us" feature. Hmm.
