I just got the massager and it seems to work ok. My main complaints are the whirring noise that it makes and the fact that there's no neck size adjustment so if you have a man's collar size of 15 1/2 - 16" like myself, it may feel a little too tight. But, I'm keeping it just the same and I'll keep using it but not too snugly against my neck. Just realized the heat doesn't seem very effective at all if it's even working.

The massager works as stated but the heat is very low and if you're not careful I believe the "machine" can bruise your neck ....... it felt like it did just that to mine.

I recently purchased this item and love it! True it's not a soft, fluffy massage but it really works out the kinks in my neck. If you're feeling creative and don't mind holding it in slightly awkward positions, it can also be used to massage your scalp, shoulders, and even the sides of your foot! I found that while the massage seems a bit harsh at first, I quickly got used to it and learned to really appreciate the strong pressure of the rollers on my muscles. After just 15 minutes of use, my neck is so nice and loose it's almost a challenge to hold it up. Now that's relaxation!

While I'd love to give this puppy a full 5 stars, two things are preventing me from doing so. First of all, it's loud, and with it being on the neck it's hard to hear anything else but the whir of the motor, and secondly, the heat just plain sucks. I have a Homedic Massage Chair Pad and the heat on that think makes this one seem especially pathetic. You're lucky if it's even noticeable. The noise alone I can handle, but when it advertises heat and doesn't deliver, well... that's pretty disappointing.

Overall I've found this to be a surprisingly versatile device that's just wonderful for relaxation. Well worth the thirty dollars if you're not set on the heat function being worth anything.
