I purchased this for my twelve year old. She has very long hair. Although easier to set up with long hair she had so many tangles when we tried to take it out that she wouldn't use it again. My 9 year old had shorter hair so we tried it on her. Not as many tangles but hard to get set up...My girls have thick hair so maybe it would work better on thin hair...Either way...neither of them bother with it anymore. I have to admit that they looked cute with their hair done though...that's why I gave it 3 stars.

i bought a very similar product like this but made by a japanese company and it really sucked! It seemed extremely cool at first but it got me really frustrated because it was sooo complicated to use and it didnt work properly! I don't know if this is any better so if you're thinking of buying this item you should probably ask someone who actually has it first if it's any good. It might be just as bad as the one i have but you never know, maybe this one IS waay better!
