I borrowed this scale from my friend to use in my classroom for science and again for weighing my luggage before going to the airport. Soon after I ordered one for myself. This scale is accurate to the ounce! So glad I finally replaced my old and not-so-accurate scale from the 80's! Worth the price! She bought hers at Bed, Bath & Beyond - I got the model and price I wanted through Amazon.

I really like this scale, it shows the tenths of a pound, which when you are attempting to lose weight really helps, at least it does for me.
