4.0 out of 5 stars Conair Ultimate Thermal Spa
OK, so this is not as good as a Spa, but for the price & convenience, I like it. It is rigid but once you get seated on it, it is comfortable. I have a textured bottom tub so of course the suction cups do not stick. I run a few inches of water in the tub, add my Dead Sea Salts, and get in & finish filling it up. Don't turn it on until you get in & finish filling the tub...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Horrible
Hubby is using his for the first time as I write this. We got it today ... ordred from [...]! They had a great sale!
Hubby says it's too rigid ... doesn't like the so called neck rest or the foot things. What he does like it the 3 speeds and LOTS of bubble action. He says no problem with the "cold air bubbles" like the last one he had ... may have something to do...

Don't turn it on until you get in & finish filling the tub. If you do not have one of the deeper, bigger tubs then I'd suggest getting one of the overflow drain covers so you can fill the tub up some more. It makes taking a bath a lot more enjoyable & after a hard day at work, it soothes all of my aches & pains. It has a lot of bubble action. I hope this helps anyone, I would recommend this.

Hubby says it's too rigid ... doesn't like the so called neck rest or the foot things. What he does like it the 3 speeds and LOTS of bubble action. He says no problem with the "cold air bubbles" like the last one he had ... may have something to do with running a few inches of pure hot water and letting it sit for a bit before adding enough to get in. He is going to be "altering" it to make it, hopefully, more comfortable. He's only 5' 10" and it seems a bit on the short side if you ask me. Would I say "don't buy" ... no. Would I say it's "perfect" ... no. Hope this info was helpful.

4.0 out of 5 stars "Thermal" Spa Bath Mat, January 19, 2009
This review is from: Conair Ultimate Thermal Spa Bath Mat with Remote Control and Massage
Arrived in excellent condition and worked as indicated right out of the box with minimal setup. Of course it is also very simple to use. I wouldn't recommend for smaller tubs as the bath mat's frame is rigid and angular preventing it from sitting properly if the tub is significantly curved. A large tub (sorry for not having any dimensions to suggest) should handle it fine though.
By the way, the "thermal" in this thermal spa is nothing special (which was expected). Bath water's temperature isn't increased but more or less maintained using somewhat warm air involved with the bubbling action. And it's a lot of bubbling which is not a bad thing at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome product, April 7, 2009

We love this product. It's awesome. It creates a full jacuzzi in the comfort of your standard bathtub, and is so much cheaper than reinstalling a jacuzzi bathtub. It's a totally great gift. It's not the 100%, most comfortable thing ever, but way better than nothing. It could stand to be a few inches longer so you could fully submerge your legs, but they are fine bent at the knee a little. The bubbles that it creates are amazing and with just the tiniest amount of bubble bath or salts, you are good to go. It's recommended that you don't keep it on for more than 15 minutes, although we usually push 20 or so. There are a few different modes (I think 3). Even on the low mode, is is fantastic. I say, buy it and ENJOY IT!

5.0 out of 5 stars Conair Spa, January 18, 2009

Conair has made it possible to enjoy a relaxing spa right in your own bathtub without renovating your bathroom. It works very well and is about as good as you can get without the renovations or the purchase of an actual hottub.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than a whirlpool tub!, December 12, 2008
This review is from: Conair Ultimate Thermal Spa Bath Mat with Remote Control and Massage
This product is excellent, I've had a whirlpool tub and this is so much more powerfull and relaxing. Only issue is that the suction cups could be better, leg part comes up when power is on and u have to hold it down w/ your legs

4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, September 8, 2010

I love this thing...I was a little skeptical because of the price, but it turned out it was way better than I expected. I agree with the other reviews about the foot things, I just took mine off and stored them. I wanted a jet tub but they are terrible to keep clean, so this was the next best thing. There are 3 speeds and I was surprised at how well they worked. It works great after a long run or hard work out, I just put this thing in the tub, plug it in and relaxe. I definitely recommend it, its no outdoor hot tub, but it really satisfies the craving for a great bath.

5.0 out of 5 stars Conair MBTS15 Ultimate Thermal Spa Bath Mat, April 17, 2010

Purchased this as a gift for my Mother, she loves it.
I looked at it, and it seems to be constructed fairly
good...but, if you weigh over 150 lbs. I would think
twice about purchasing this as its not very wide. My
Mom is around 125# (don't tell her I said so) and short
so she fits on something like this with no issues. I was
happy SHE was happy. FYI, Amazon had the BEST price on
this, I looked all over before I purchased it, so I have
done your footwork for you!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not elegant, but functional, November 16, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Having moved to a different home that didn't have jets in the garden tub proved to be a challenge. I have fibromyalgia and the current in the water helps to relieve the pain. I didn't want to spend the time or money ripping up the bathroom to replace the tub. This unit is not a visual enhancement to the bathroom, it is not completely comfortable and it is noisy. However, it does what it is meant to do, move the water around. The various speeds allow for personalized bubbling action. The footrests are designed it a way that you're bent and your knees stick out of the water. The plastic, bumpy rollers they call massagers can be irritating to sensitive feet. They are easy to remove, thereby allowing more room the put your entire body in the water. It is not going to be as relaxing as a whirlpool tub or spa, but for the price it will help to relax your muscles.
