The Conair FX944GT is a full-digital wall- or desk-mountable answering system with a convenient corded receiver. The answering machine offers 11 minutes of digital recording time, voice time/day stamp, remote operation, call screening, and a digital message counter.

Caller ID features include 64 name and number memory, caller ID redial and callback, and a new-call indicator to simplify use (subscription to caller ID services required through your local phone company). Other features include comfortable rubber hand grips, 10-number memory dialing, and a dedicated volume control for the receiver.

Answering machine voice quality poor; handset soon shorted out from static electricity; no hang-up feature from handset. I don't recommend this one.

Wall-mounting is difficult, the sound quality of the answering machine is poor, and the answering machine circuitry fried before one year of use.
