A Hero made of Iron, Steel and Metal, June 15, 2005
This review is from: Conan El Cimmerio 1 (Spanish Edition) (Paperback)
This is surely the best compilation of tales by Robert E. Howard concerning his legendary creation Conan the Cimmerian written in Spanish. Drawings take the reader to the very place of battles and ancient temples shaping an ambience of mistery and war-like life.
Some classic readings including two versions of "The Phoenix on the Sword" make this book a fine piece of collection for all those who admire Howard's work and epic fantasy in general.
One odd thing is the printing of the cover even when the used drawing reflects a sombre face of the Cimmerian King.
This edition includes a couple of maps revealing those kingdoms.
One drawing I really appreciate is that appearing on "The Phoenix on the Sword" shaping a broken spear with a serpent eating its own tail (Ouroborus) over it, it is just AMAZING.
