I originally bought this jewelry cleaner at the state fair several years ago--yes, I was one of those sucked into buying a product demonstrated in the expo building at the fair. (What's next? The waterless cookware? The specially-priced-for-fair-goers-only hair straightening iron?) The demonstrator got my rings very clean (I also bought the cream polish which works very well, although I don't use it much) and I have continued to get the same results through the years. He even told me a good tip: once the color of the bright blue cleaner starts to dull, pour it through a coffee filter to clean out the dirt. I also use a travel toothbrush that I keep inside my plastic container for an extra-quick cleaning when I don't have time to soak my jewelry for a few hours or overnight. One packet of this stuff lasts for months and months. I love this product and will continue to buy it for a very long time. I'm glad to see the company has gone green.

I had been using their original cleaner premixed in the little plastic jars and loved it for years so I ordered several of these little packets for my daughter and I. It is not the same. It cleans well, but the formula gets very thick and gel-like very fast with thick clumps so that you have to add hot water. I used a brand new container just once on diamond studs and then two weeks later went to use it again, and it was all thick and cloudy and gross looking.
