I would say that this wine rack is a decent piece for the kitchen, but the product description is somewhat misleading. The mention of the word "glass" I'm assuming describes the fact that you can use this rack to store & display wine glasses. The actual product consists of black wrought-iron frame and very, very cheap (not useable) PLEXI-GLASS shelves. I immediately disposed of the shoddy plexi-glass and will purchase actual glass shelves from a local dealer at additional cost. The iron frame is decent and easy to assemble, but should cost about half the price-tag given that it doesn't include actual glass shelves. Not an entirely misleading description, but the abysmal quality of the plexi-glass included with the rack has left a very bad taste in my mouth. That said, I'm not returning the item at this point. Shipping was just fine.

This is sturdy, easy to assemble, and looks great. Its also very functional. Holds 12 glasses and 12 bottles of wine with one shelf.

I had no problem with the plexiglass shelves. They are more durable then regular glass and I didnt think they looked cheap at all. Some people must have REALLY high standards. The rack was easy to assemble and fits perfectly in a smaller kitchen. Only downer was that it will not hold 21 glasses like the description says. You will be lucky if it holds ten :o(

This wine rack was everything we were looking for! It was easy to put together, very sturdy, nice thick glass, holds our carafe, ice bucket, old fashioned glasses, red wine and white wine glasses, along with cordial glasses and irish cofee glasses, and it looks great in our dining room. I would certainly recommend this item.
