Each lamp slides along a 43-Inch track and adjusts side-to-side, while each lamp head swivels to shine right where the light is needed. No cords and wires like other over-the-bed lighting. Convenient and effective lighting wherever you want it, and only where you want it. Each LED lamp has its own on/off switch and is dimmable. These attributes make this lamp perfect to avoid disturbing your partner sleeping right next to you while you read or work. It's easy to install-if you can hang a picture, you can install this lamp. In addition, it's cordless, battery operated (Four D-Batteries, not included) design means you are not limited by cord length, outlet availability, and you keep a more clutter free look on your wall.

Over the bed dual LED lamp is perfect for two people and their reading habits. One can read while the other sleeps. Two lamps are adjustable and slide along a 42.75 inch track as well as adjust side to side. Each lamp bulb swivels to illuminate exactly where it is aimed. Since this is battery operated there are no cords or wires. Separate on /off switch for each lamp and both can be dimmed easily. Easy to install, if you can hang a picture, you can install this lamp. Actual fixture weight 1.2 lbs. Total Dimensions 42.75 inch with 15" of sliding track on each side and 12.75" in center to hide /hold (4) "D" batteries (not included). When fully extended the lamps and holders are 4.5" from wall.

Product looks great, but when illuminated isn't quite as bright as we were hoping it would be.

Arrived on time, easy to assemble and mount on the wall.

The design of this product is well done (see exception below); it is very functional and practical, good-looking, modernistic, unobtrusive, eliminates the light-on-table
situation. It uses four D-batteries, so it's great for anyplace without electricity if you need a focused light source. No cord: yay! LEDs use very little energy, so the batteries will last quite awhile.

Flaws: the relatively flimsy materials and the lightbulbs. In this otherwise elegant design, the weight of the metal should have been heavier; the bulbs are clunky and cheap-looking, plastic w/ only two pins. The natural tendency to pull on them when adjusting the fixture causes them to pull out. The one fixture this happened to no longer works and it is the fixture not the bulb. I know there are better-quality LED bulbs available, and they should have used them. It looks better in the picture--it's those ugly lightbulbs in real life! Hopefully, I can find replacements...

Although aesthetically pleasing, the light produced by this product is not only disappointing, but unusable.
