Engineered for outdoor weather, the Concept SL-100 solar powered outdoor security light features bright LEDs, a compact attractive design, and it can be easily installed in various configurations with minimal tools or effort. You don't need to wire anything or involve electricity — the power comes from the sun.
The SL-100 has 32 super bright wide-angle LEDs that provide brightness equivalent to a 20-watt CFL bulb. It covers up to 190 feet, and its 2-watt amorphous solar panel has a 12-foot cable for optimal positioning.
This wire-free security light works especially well in remote or difficult-to-access locations such as rooftops, sheds, detached garages, barns, and other outbuildings. It's also ideal for illuminating dark sidewalks, alleys, patios and deterring potential prowlers. The solar security light measures 9-3/4 by 9 by 14-3/4 inches (WxDxH), and the solar panel measures 13-1/2 by 1/2-inch by 7-1/4 inches (WxDxH).
Simply secure it in a desired location, making sure to position its solar panel in a sunny direction for maximum solar charge (functions up to 10 hours on a full charge). After dark, the unit's built-in motion detector turns the light on automatically upon detecting motion, and then turns it off after a user-defined timer setting.

Light is fainter than solar lights with much lower power ratings. Too faint to be very useful except in a small space. Rest of features appear to work as advertised.Published 5 months ago by Deborah R. Simons
