This profoundly intelligent discussion of the teaching and learning addresses the interface of theory and practice in teaching, the meshing of science and art, and a close examination of pedagogic issues.

The book is not an easy read, but should be the foundational, authoritative text for every course in teaching offered by universities. And, it should be in the package given to all newly appointed principals.
