Great for overview or in-depth study,
By Millicent Schmidt "statimprobgrl" (Golden, Colorado, United States) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Concepts In Inhalation Toxicology (Hardcover)
This book was fantastic from a non-medical point of view. I am studying the geochemistry of inhaled particulate matter. I knew almost nothing about the biological response to inhaled particles and this book was really interesting and readable. It started from the basics and went into greater detail than I needed for my own research. The first section of the book goes over in vivo animal experimental design options which i skipped so I can't really discuss it.
Another great, similar resource was Particle-Lung Interactions edited by Peter Gehr. |
