Concert (1999 World Tour) [IMPORT] [LIVE] -Not what it seems,

The 1999/2000 World tour cd is a import from Germany and does not life up to its expectations. The main reason is, that this is not the original "tour recording". It is rather a compilation of Elvis recordings from the '70s without the "new" live sound. The album however is not from the "new" world tour. I saw "Elvis the concert" in Cerritos, California in January the 30th 2001 and it was fantastic. Needless to say I was excited, about purchasing a live cut album, from this concert event. The packaging by RCA/BMG makes people believe, that this is the album from those shows, but it is not. All that was done, is a addition of the "old" tracks ( Aloha,TTWIS,etc.) Well, those original tracks are great and I am a huge Elvis Fan, but I wish EPE would correct those "false" shipments from Germany.

I HAD THE OPERTUNITY TO ATTEND THE ELVIS IN CONCERT 2000 WORLD TOUR WHICH PERFOMED AT THE MIDSOUTH COLLISEUM ON JANUARY 8TH, 2000. I HAD PURCHASED THE ELVIS 1999 WORLD TOUR CD WHILE AT THE SHOW. ELVIS HAD SAID IN HIS 1969 TV SPECIAL HOW THE SOUNDS, SOUND QUALITY, AND MUSICIANS ARE ALWAYS IMPROVING, WELL IT'S BEEN 30YRS SINCE THAT 1969 COMEBACK TV SPECIAL, AND THE SOUND IS GREAT! ELVIS' TCB BAND, THE STAMPS QUARTET, SUPREMES, AND ORCHESTRA ALL PERFORM LIVE IN PERSON WHILE ELVIS PERFORMES LIVE ON A LARGE SCREEN USING LIVE CONCERT VIDEO AND HIS VOLCAL TRACKS. LIVE CAMERAS CAPTURE, MEMBERS OF THE GROUP PLAYING THEIR SOLO'S APPEARING ON SCREENS NEXT TO ELVIS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE SHOW OR CD TO ANYBODY IN THE WORLD. ELVIS' SHOW OFFERS SONGS OF LOVE AND INSPIRATION, CAPTURING PEOPLE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE! ELVIS IS LOVED ALL AROUND THE WORLD! AN EXAMPLE OF THE AMERICAN DREAM! THE 1999 WORLD TOUR CD IS THE BEST ELVIS IN CONCERT CD YOU CAN BUY. I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND ELVIS INCONCERT 1977RECORDED 6 WEEKS BEFORE HIS PASSING. THANKYOU! JEFFREY DIONNE
