Good, short lived band in good sound, March 3, 2007

The mercurial Bruce aided by the equally mercurial David Sancious. Sancious often moved from his keyboards to guitar, and that aerial duel he does with Clem Clempson on Politician is very much in the spirit of the original. There is a mistake in the track listing: Escape to the Royal Wood is listed but never played. That track is actually Morning Story. This is a nice blend of songs from Jack Bruce's career to date (concert is 11/20/80). Billy Cobham plays on this, too. I think he was replaced by the late Bruce Gary not long after this was recorded.
