I was shocked that no one had reviewed this GREAT cd. Many cds have a few moving songs and the rest are ok. This CD is different. Almost every song, if not every song, will move you. This is great music, with passion, and storytelling, and transporting the listener to the time and place of what's going on in the song. This music reaches the soul. It reaches where we live and the words remain with you. This music makes you long to be in Jesus' presence and this cd makes one feel His presence more. The 1st song-The Anchor Holds- is worth the price of the cd. The music and the words are beautiful. This is definitely a classic in Christian music. I really can't say enough good comments about this cd and I believe it will bless anyone who listens.

I discovered Ray Boltz when I heard him sing "Watch the Lamb" on a Christian radio station. I immediately began looking for a CD on Amazon and ordered The Concert of a Lifetime because it had that song on it. What a blessing to find that nearly every song on this CD had just as much impact as that one. Ray Boltz tells Bible stories musically, and he tells them very well.
He has a powerful voice that lends itself to a powerful message.
This CD is wonderful!

I bought this CD a pretty good while because I am very involved in sign language and I needed a song that would speak to the people that witnessed me signing, and I picked the anchor holds. The words are a picture that shows ,to me, that God is always there to povide Himself as a "anchor" through all of your "storms". It is very inspiration and I recomend this CD and any other that Ray has produced (I have them all almost) because it is a great witnessing tool.

We lost our baby sister in an auto accident. She was two weeks from turning 30. We couldn't choose a song, for her funeral, that touched us all until we heard "The Anchor Holds". It truly touched us all and gave us hope. This CD is a blessing. The song, The Anchor Holds, is the promise we have.

I too was so deeply moved after listening to Ray Boltz' Concert of a Lifetime that I immediately also bought the Video which was amazing. I didn't think he'd be able to top the album, but setting the music to video was life altering. My husband had just died unexpectedly at 39 years old (I was 31) and his inspirational music saw me through my darkest hours reassuring me that the lord was right there and that he had and always has a plan.

My son bought the first copy of this album for me. I had to listen to it many times before I could here it and not cry. I have given many copies to friends and family, and watched their lives change. All ages from 9-25,all with different music tastes. My son uses these song to sing as special music for Chapel Services in the Army. It has changed many lives!! I have listened to that album so many times and I still can not pick out a favorite! After a very serious car wreck caused by a drunk driver, the only way I could drive that road again was with this album playing "The Anchor Holds." I have given my last copy to my granddaughter (12), when she got in my car that was the first thing she looked for. She said, "Me-Ma where is Ray Boltz?" When I told her I left it at home because I was listening to it there, her face fell so when we got home I gave it to her so she can listen to Ray Boltz whenever she wants. The Lord does a special Work to whoever hears these songs. If you want your life and the lives of your family and friends to be blessed each time you hear it, this is the album you must have. It covers the Grace and Forgivness of God, and reminds us anew if we are to be like Him, we must love like Him. This album is a gift to us,through Ray Boltz,from God!

The Concert Of A Lifetime is exactly that for Ray Boltz! This contemporary Christian performer brings his faith to each and every song in the concert! His inspiring lyrics move you as you hear "The Anchor Holds", or his most famous song "I Pledge Allegiance To The Lamb". But
you will be truly touched by such songs as "What If I Give All?" and
brought to your knees in spirit filled praise as you hear "Watch The Lamb". This is truly "The Concert Of A Lifetime" and besides owning this great CD, I had the immense pleasure of seeing Ray Boltz LIVE as he brought this performance on tour throughout the United States. Many were saved that night, and I'm sure many more will be simply by hearing this music and its inspired words!

The title "The Concert of A Lifetime" does not lie. This is truly a remarkable CD. I especially like the song "One Drop of Blood." It is awesome. Also, "Watch the Lamb" is wonderful!

You won't regret it if you purchase this album.

While up late one night watching TBN they played 2 of Ray Boltz songs; "The Anchor Holds" and "Sent By The Father" and I have been hooked since! I had to hear more and purchased both DVD's and the CD---still looking for the Christmas concert. Ray's mission "to produce and perform music that allows listeners and audiences to see Jesus" has been accomplished in me; I have a deeper love for the Lord after viewing this awesome "review" of the Bible stories within it. I've even started seeking out a church home. If you want to be changed on the inside and need a push, you can start by listening to Ray Boltz music, especially "The Concert of A Lifetime" it details so much of God's love for us. You will be amazed at what you hear. God Bless You Too!!!

Wonderful CD. Ray Boltz has been blessed with great talent. He is using this gift to Honor and glorify God. Very touching and uplifting music, that will make your heart glad!!
