4.0 out of 5 stars A useful addition to any occult library, January 14, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: The Concise Lexicon of the Occult (Paperback)
The word 'concise' in the title of the book says it best. This is thin paperback holding brief summaries of some interesting occult terms. As a primer, for someone just coming into occultism, it is a great reference. And since there will always be a few obscure words that even the most ardent magus might need to look up from time to time, it would be most useful to have on any occultist's shelf. However, consider it more a stepping stone rather than the end to a quest for knowledge.

If you are looking into the craft for fun, reference, or in search of a truth then this work can teach what the words really mean and dispell some of the false teachings or rumors of other religions or role playing games. Personally, I don't believe reading any book on Wicca or other earth religions can be accomplished with comprehension(understanding, for the young) without this book.
