I bought this pot because each year we make and can at least 50 quarts of applesauce and the shape and size of this pot seemed ideal. With the first batch, little specks of the nonstick material appeared in the mixture ruining 20 pounds of apples. Only medium heat was used as was a wooden spoon. When the pot was cleaned out, there was a quarter-sized piece of the coating missing and I could then peel large strips of the remaining stuff with my fingers. I could have removed the entire coating in very little time had I wanted to. What absolute garbage! This is by far the worst cookware I have ever purchased and I have purchased plenty. Don't touch it.
