4.0 out of 5 stars Value for money product for home use
Nice product for home use.Installs very well.
Installing of driver makes the camera memory work as an external drive ( connected thru USB )
A bit delicate as it does not have a lens cover for outside weather.
LCD needs good illumination of subject
Battery is not common (CR123) and may prove costly - rechargeable ones not easily available...

1.0 out of 5 stars Low Value for the Price....
I bought this camera hoping it would do the 3 things which were advertised: Digital Camera, Movie Capture and Web Cam. It was very disappointing in all 3 counts to say the least. The still picuture quality and movie capture were average at best and what I also didn't like was the low quality LCD screen that doesn't help at all unless you are in bright sunlight or under...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great overall digital camera, March 21, 2003

I purchaced this because I was looking for a great entry level digital camera with lots of features for an affordable price. This is what the camera does & has:
>Takes still photos up to 1.3 megapixels
>Records .avi movie clips (no sound)
>MMC/SD card expandable so it sstores virtually unlimited photographs
>USB connectable (cord included in package)
>TV out
>LCD screen for reviewing photo's & movies
>Doubles as a webcam
>Really small
>Runs off of CR123 batteries

THis is what's bad about the camera:
>Eats batteries like no tomorrow
>For webcam to work, room needs to be well lit
>Flash is insanely bright (excellent unless the picture is taken up close; otherwise, it's great. It could stun a potential mugger if need be).
>D-Pad seems flimsy and clicky

All in all, it's worth picking up. With the exception of the batteries, all the bad things about the camera aren't that big of a deal. Recommended highly.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly surprised and very pleased!, August 19, 2003
This review is from: Concord EyeQ Go LCD Digital Camera (Electronics)
I am not a photographer and don't plan to be one. However, I do enjoy taking pictures of everyday life to cherish the memories. I was hesitant to buy a digital camera at this price because I was afraid the picture quality would be poor. I believe I made the right decision in purchasing this one.

Yes, there are better cameras on the market - there are A LOT worse. It does have its little bugs as the others have stated, but I would still recommend this camera for those that want to take nice pictures at a reasonable price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent features, Good pictures, Excellent price, March 9, 2003
By A Customer

Got this camera, as I wanted better than a webcam (640x480) and didn't want to pay $...for a decent digital camera. This $...camera fitted the bill.

-> Software included installs perfectly and fast. No driver problems, infact the bundled software and drivers are real good.
-> Don't expect 4 mega-pixel photos, this takes 1.3 megapixel photos and takes them well enough to make out the details.
-> Webcam feature is an added bonus. It has a tripod hole at the bottom (not included), so I can use it conviently.
-> 8MB included is OK.
-> You must read the manual completely, to use most of the advanced features.
-> I like the photos it takes, good for memories and pics of my dog playing etc..
-> Webcam feature adds value.
-> TV out feature is real good.
-> Ability to add MMC/SD cards make it expandable if you ever need to. (Later on can use the SD card on the more expensive digital cam if you ever buy one)!.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT little camera for the money..., December 28, 2004
This review is from: Concord EyeQ Go LCD Digital Camera (Electronics)
I got this camera for $60 at Target for my almost 8 y/o son for Christmas... it is a great little camera for the money! You can use the LCD screen for taking and viewing pictures (just like mom's camera) and the picture quality is pretty good, too. We haven't used the video function yet, but my son thinks that is going to be really cool, too... it also has macro and distance functions... It holds 14 (highest quality) pictures w/o any kind of card, but we bought him a 128 MB SD Card and now it holds 247 (highest quality) pictures. We tried a similar camera by Vivitar and returned it for this one... the only drawback I can see is it takes a little photo lithium battery, not something I can just recharge...

5.0 out of 5 stars I am VERY pleased with this camera!, July 2, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Concord EyeQ Go LCD Digital Camera (Electronics)
I was nervous about purchasing this camera but have been really pleased with this camera. It takes absolutely TERRIFIC pictures. It is much easier to use than the camera I use at work that cost over $... The software was also very user friendly (again much easier than the camera I use at work). It also uses a CR123 lithium battery instead of AA or AAA in most cameras in this price range. That will save me money. It also has an LCD screen which is the only camera I found in this price range with the LCD. I bought a SD card to go with the camera and can take 125 high resolution photos with it. I HIGHLY recommend this camera!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice pocket Camera, June 16, 2006
This review is from: Concord EyeQ Go LCD Digital Camera (Electronics)
I got this camera as a gift about 2 years ago now to just take everyday photos, and to have with me for short road trips for those "little moments". This camera does a good job for someone needing it for these requirements.

Good Features:
SD expansion (i have 512mb in it = 1024 photos on best quality)
Resonable battery life- around 200 photos I believe, if not more
Good Size, fits in my pocket
Price-35 dollars on clearance at a chain store.

Downs:
1.3megapixels-4x6 is as big as you can get a photo with decent quality/no pixelation
Small buttons-can easily accidently erase something
No sound on video clips-not a big deal, it's a camera!!

Overall, I am very pleased with this, have gotten much use out of it, and as another reviewer did, this is an excellent starter camera for kids. Hope this is helpful

1.0 out of 5 stars Low Value for the Price...., February 28, 2003
This review is from: Concord EyeQ Go LCD Digital Camera (Electronics)
I bought this camera hoping it would do the 3 things which were advertised: Digital Camera, Movie Capture and Web Cam. It was very disappointing in all 3 counts to say the least. The still picuture quality and movie capture were average at best and what I also didn't like was the low quality LCD screen that doesn't help at all unless you are in bright sunlight or under stage ligths. What this does is obligate you to use the old fashion window to see what you are taking a picture of, rendering the LCD screen virtually useless (one of the top reasons I bought this piece of junk). On top of that the flash is so bright you have to be at least 3 feet away as to not ruin the pictures. As far as the web cam goes, it doesn't work!! You'll be a lot more successfull using your headphones as a microphone for chatting on the web than using this camera to video conference. Another thing that I didn't like was the ... construction of the camera. It felt ..., it should have been ..., it wasn't ... so I felt ... and returned the camera the next day. Bottom line, buy a Logitech Clicksmart if you want bang for your buck and something that does what is advertised.

1.0 out of 5 stars Only ONE Good Thing About It!, December 17, 2003
By
This review is from: Concord EyeQ Go LCD Digital Camera (Electronics)
I bought this camera for a very special occassion. I needed a camera for a very special trip I was taking with my daughter.
First, there isn't an memory card that would fit into it without SHOVING it in! I did get good photos. Too bad the camera DELETED them while I watched, not even TOUCHING anything! I had a good return policy, which is the ONLY good thing about this piece of JUNK!!!
