Allan of Glasgow make the finest Bibles in the world, in my opinion. Next, would be Cambridge. I have noticed a decline in Cambridge leathers over the past 10 years. I have a Concord from around 1987, bound in buttery soft Calfskin. I also have one from around 2000, which is stiff as a board and tough as shoe leather and the inside ends are coming up. They all are sewn bindings, have hinged covers, quality paper, and top grain leathers. None of this American mass-produced glue-bound 'shlock' here at Cambridge. I am thankful, also, that Cambridge produces the black-letter edition along with the red-letter edition for those who desire it. The ancient manuscripts never had 'words of Christ in red' and it is an innovation from the late nineteenth century which I find distracting. The Concord has a great font, and the Dictionary and Concordance are outstanding. This is a wonderful Bible to own and cherish. It will undoubtedly last a lifetime and is worth every penny spent. Thanks be to God there are a few alternatives to American mass-produced junk. Any Cambridge Bible is worth it. But...they are not as they were.

I've been saved since I was 13 years old. I collect Bibles. I've got Bibles printed by different compamies and the Cambridge is my favorite. They have great bindings and pages, I also like the fact they are the oldest Bible printing company.

"God's Word revealed to a simple man." The Book contains the key to eternal life. What an awesome GOD, to send HIS only SON - from Glorious Heaven, to filthy earth - to become a man, as you and I, and to be Crucified, willingly, to die for The Believer's Sins....and to defeat Death - and Rise Again, Immortal, and Eternal. THANK YOU JESUS.
