I SAW A SIMILAR KNIFE ON TV. I LOOKED EVERYWHERE. WHEN I SAW IT HERE I BOUGHT IT. I AM THRILLED! HEAVY, SHARP WELL DESIGNED. A GREAT CLEAVER CHEFS TOOL FOR MY KNIFE COLLECTION. I USE IT VERY OFTEN. AAAAA+++++. THANKS, COUSINVINNIE

Sharp out of the box and does a good job. Use on large veggies, melons and the occasional chicken. Cleans up well and sharpens nicely. Nice to look at on the knife rack too. Plastic handle has made some noise some over the year, but rivets have held tight.

I had to have this knife because it was so beautiful. I'm just not sure the steel holds an edge well enough. I'm no expert but it seems to dull easily.
