Fear not to order this Masterpiece!, January 14, 2004
I have heard some criticism of Cambridge tampering with the spellings and capitalization within the text of the King James in the 21st Century printings. I have many of their most collectable and also this exact edition. THERE IS NO SUCH TAMPERING. This beautiful wide-margin Bible is magnificently bound with impeccable attention to detail. Cambridge continues to be the Monarch of high quality King James publishers. If they had the rights to the "Scofield" study system there would be no contest at all from Oxford Press. It is a very valuable and useable Bible. Stunning craftsmanship. Cambridge has excellent customer service too. You'll pause with breathless delight when you first open the functional protective case and your eyes inspect eagerly, this handsome goatskin volume. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wonderfully made Bible., January 6, 2004
Who knew goatskin leather was so soft. Very nice Bible that I hope to enjoy for many years to come. Generous margins and plenty of lined note paper in back. Maps are the best I have seen as well. No error-filled comments/opinions to interrupt the study of God's Word.

Superb Readablility, August 5, 2005
Even though I would configure this bible somewhat differently, I still cannot give this less than 5 stars.
I own many bibles and until now have underestimated the value of having a bible with such clean text that reads so well. The more readable the text is, the less effort and concentration is needed for comprehension. The self-pronunciation feature is very useful.
Everything said about the craftsmanship by the others is true, even the ruled pages in the back are gilded. It is a large bible, but the pages flip easily and do not stick together, even right out of the box. The goatskin is flexible and the bible lays flat.
I would trade some of the ruled pages for a subject index and proper names in the concordance. Also, the references are just OK and I'd prefer the set of cross-references from other bibles that I own.
If you are trying to decide between this on and the Cambridge Cameo, the Cameo does not have room in the inner margin, nor does it have the bold reference system (text is not as clean). However, the Concord is a large bible, so there are trade-offs.
In my opinion, the Cambridge Concord Wide Margin in Goatskin KWM266 is the nicest KJV money can buy, short of some of the custom binders (e.g. Allan and so on).
