CONCORDE,
By Janet (Oklahoma City, Okla.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Concorde (Mass Market Paperback)
This is a must read for anyone that enjoys a good adventure, a little revenge, some modest sex and a happy ending. This book has it all. Don't let the length of this book deter anyone from reading it. It is a very fast and most enjoyable read. I felt like I was taking the trip with the characters and by the end of the book found myself rooting for some and waiting for others to get their due! An avid reader of books for years, it is rare when I find an author this enjoyable. Looking forward to her next book. Hope it hits the market soon!

Terrific, Terrific,
By Nancy Hurley (Scottsdale, Arizona) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Concorde (Mass Market Paperback)
This well written first book takes you around the world on the Concorde, with fun, adventure, and romance. Avid readers will read every line, sometime readers will not want to put it down. A must read for everyone who enjoys "mainstream" writing.

CONCORDE: THE JOURNEY TO HARMONY,
This review is from: Concorde (Mass Market Paperback)
Ann Lacy's first novel, Concorde, moves as fast as the supersonic British-French airplane from which it takes its name. The passengers, a collection of rich Americans and those who court, serve, and hunt them, travel around the world to celebrate Millennium 2000. In a few weeks, the travelers encounter danger and their real selves. Unlikely pilgrims, these overindulged Yankees face obstacles which awaken in them a sense of their own value and strength. The characters are real and the plot and subplots intricately interwoven. The explicit sexual content is integrally related to the story. There is much here for the lover of adventure and romance. The story is funny and comes alive. |
