with a name like Concrete Hell, ya betta know it's gonna live up to that name... oh boy, where to start... a lot of info in this one!!

what the reviewer said above is correct. this documentary mostly talks about how lots of ppl are copying the west coast gangs. they also talk about how rap music and rap music videos glorify the bangers, and the bangers don't like it either... the bangers are basically saying that the music videos are wrong in how they are portraying them.

i also noticed in this dvd, there was alot of rapping... the bangers in here rapping.. some of them are real talented to w/ the rhymes... 2Swift that's for sure is damn talented..

this movie talked to both blood sets and crip sets. they did talk to some female bangers too or females that used to be in gangs.

they showed some graffiti, but not much. this movie also showed alot of what was in the Rep Yo Set movie in this one too... i didn't really like that part of it(I've seen Rep Yo Set) in this movie, but for what they were talking about, i could see why they included it...

i learned some things off this one, like 'gang holidays'. what i'm about to say, i don't know if it's a real gang or not... i'm just throwing out an example: 9 Duece Hoover - would celebrate their gang holiday on September 2nd. they use the first ones usually for the month, and 2nd # for the day. i didn't know about 'gang holidays' or that till i saw this movie.

one thing i didn't like about this dvd was lack of graffiti footage, the parts from "Rep yo Set" in it (that was almost like a plug for that movie in this movie).

1 thing i enjoyed in this dvd: when 2Swift and the rest of his set are freestyle rapping... most of them are busting original freestyles, but some are dissing 2Pac, but mostly dissing The Game!! i'm surprised The Game has not battled these guys... they diss The Game bad! it's a good rap too, and they diss him way bad....

i think they centered more on the Bloods then the Crips in this one... i liked the fact they went to Grape St Watts though, and PJ Watts. usually when anything gang related comes out, no one goes to Watts... so i was glad to see Watts in this one...

this is def a good dvd, very informative, plus the music is awesome in it... def one to own.

The movie was good. It talked about the streets of California and how people shouldn't glorify gangbanging. People have been doing it wrong and want to be these hardcore gangstas, but are really looking like fools. They need to stop throwing on colors and claiming gangs they are not really a part of. Everyone wants to copy off of California gangs, but noone has a mind of their own
