I made the horrible mistake of buying this cd for the fact that it was produced by organized noize and backbone was part of the dungeon family. Dungeon Family + Organized Noize Production = Definite Hit right? WRONG!!! I'm a big fan of both parties, but I honestly don't know how or why they released this trash. Backbone is probably the weakest rapper I've ever heard in my life. He squeeks when he raps....literally squeeks. He sounds like he has indefinite hiccups. Seriously, I would place this album somewhere in the top 5 worst rap albums ever! I don't mean to be a hater, but I spent my hard earned cash on this garbage and ended up selling it for $1 at a pawnshop b/c NOBODY wanted to buy it from me. It's really that bad.......

I only picked up this album because I'm a fan of the Dungeon Family. There are some standouts on here like "5 Deuce 4 Tre" (which derived from a line Backbone said in OutKast's "Slump") and "Lord Have Mercy" (featuring Cee-lo). "Come See Me" (featuring Sleepy Brown) and "O.K." ride the line between catchy and trite but they still get heavy play in my system. The rest of the songs are okay, nothing to run and tell a friend about, but not bad enough to be filler, either.

I don't really know what to say about this album. On one hand, some songs are tight. On the other hand, it seems like a perfect waste of a good beat (see track #10). I bought this album because I like most of the Dungeon Family's work. The intro is kind of misleading because it's kind of hot, but most of the album isn't. Some songs play with the beat for so long that it makes you want to skip it (see track #11). Also, I didn't like how an old Outkast beat was jacked on track #9(from the Aquemini outro). Speaking of Aquemini, the hook from "Slump" was jacked too (on track #13). This album did make me wonder where Witchdoctor went. He's so underrated. If you're not a die hard southern rap fan, skip this one. Personal Favorites: Concrete Law, Hit & Run, Lord Have Mercy, 5 Duece - 4 Tre, & Come See Me

This is one of the tightest CD's out this year!! Compared to all the garbage I've had to listen to, this is top choice (far better than DMX's latest effort.) For some folk, "Concrete Law" may take some getting use to 'cause of some of the flava included on this piece. Songs like the title track and "Like This" have other musical influence to them. But if you listen to cutz like, "Lord Have Mercy," "50 Deep," and a bunch othaz, there's a deep subliminal message lyrically. The song that kept me waiting for this album is "5,2,4,3" and I was looking for more jamz like that, but homie kept it real and hooked up mo' stuff for the ride and that club thang. All 'n all, I think it was worth the grillcheese, and hopefully, the next album will bang hard and still have the positive vibe gittin' gone.

Dungeon Fam.......Look-out, they at it agian. Backbone AKA Mr. Fat Face shouldn't be new to any real Outkast fan or Dungeon Fam head for that matter. This is the kat who delivered the strong opening verse on Goodie Mob's track "I refuse Limitation" off the Still Standing CD....."For the freaky h@s I lust, but I'm still flinking ashes. Alot of other ...snortin dust......." Backbone style on the mic is pure slow flow ryhme perfection. This CD in my opinion isn't for every head. It's still some haters out there not feeling the ATL sound......this means you. The Dugeon Family has a sound and style that carries in all of thier artist like: Slimm Calhoun, Cool Breeze, Goodie Mob, Joi, Outkast and others with many more to come. Concrete Law features vocals by Ceelo, Khujo, Gipp, Joi, Cool Breeze, Slimm and new talent from Mr. Fat Face crew. Oh yeah by the way......the man can hold his on the mic. This CD is a winner in MY collection. It may be not for you. That's the pleasure of having choses.....choose what's good to your ears and don't go by what radio or media says is hot. Hip-Hop continues....oNe

This album was aiight. the only reason why i didn't give it 3starz was because it was below my expectations. He got potential but dem beats was weak. One thing bout Ga music is either u gone love it or hate it. This cd i hate. Dont but dis folkz.

Yo, I like the Dungeon Family but this album is weak. The lyrics are not tight at all. The guests such as Youngbloodz,Goodie Mob,Coolbreeze, Slic Patna, Slimm Calhoun give so so vocals. The beats and the production couldn't save this one.Every song ... hard. Yo I hope the Dungeon Family's Album is better than this one.

The production on this album was steller like that for example with the guitars. Got this when it came out and its still in rotation. Besides the single the other real banger is nine with the mutant, the song with cee lo, joi and dungeon ratts, I guess its kinda hit and miss with this dude in my opinion he's one of the best in DF guess outkast aquemini goodie mob world party agree this album sold well in the south. You get everyone from the Goodie on this along with Cool Breeze Calhoun Slimm Cutta, but dude carrys the album himself.

This cd has tight production and Backbone flows very well with it. From start to finish this cd is bumpin'. The guest appearances on the cd fit very well, with Cee-lo bringing spiritual energy onto "Lord Have Mercy" and Sleepy Brown on the hook of "Come See Me". If you are a fan of the Dungeon crew or even if you are not, you should check out this cd. Standout tracks include Concrete Law, Like This, 5 Deuce - 4 Tre, O.K., and Dungeon Ratz.
