I'm a paid subscriber to Conde Nast Traveler, and I was able to register as a current subscriber (not easily, but I managed). But I can't access my issues through the app! There's no way to actually open an available issue without either 'buying' or 'subscribing'. I got a message when I opened the app the other day that my December issue was available - but where is it, and how do I get to it????

The link in the app to contact customer service at Conde Nast is a joke. It opens another page that's just a blurb for the issue - no way to actually CONTACT customer service. The page isn't even formatted properly for the Fire! There IS a link to FAQs for the app, but it just brings you to the same incorrectly formatted page as the basic CS link.

No thanks - this one is going to be deleted! I'll stick with the print copy. Shame on Conde Nast for putting out such a poor quality app and shame on Amazon (never thought I'd say that!) for not testing it thoroughly before promoting it for the Fire.

ETA 12/1/11: I emailed CNT customer service and they responded (not quickly, but they did respond) with the information that they had no record of my registration, even though I had completed it on the app and got the confimation page. They advised that I re-register using the account number instead of my address (and gave me the account number). I was a bit annoyed, but I tried again. I entered the account number and when that was accepted I used the same email/password that I had already registered with, and I got a confirmation screen again. Directions said to log out and then log back in, so I did, and when I logged in again, I saw my current & prior issue with 'purchased' next to it and a 'download' button. Just a note - the file size is huge and the download took a looonng time. So, I've upped my rating to about 2 1/2 - 3 stars - it's a little clunky and not really intitutive, but with CNT's customer service, I was able to get it to work correctly.

I am also a current print subscriber to Conde Nast Traveler but was unable to correctly fill out the additional info needed on the device to actually get the totally free access that comes with paid print subscription. Very frustrating!!!!!
