Douglas Darden,
By Mikaela (San Luis Obispo, CA, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Condemned Building: An Architect's Pre-Text--Plans, Sections, Elevations, Details, Models, Ideograms, Scriptexts, and Letters for Ten - Allegorical Works of Architecture (Paperback)
There are very few books that inspire me to work harder at my study of architecture. This book shows what architecture can be when it is coupled with imagination and thought. One of the books that shows great respect to humanity, history, and earth.
If anything, it is worth buying for the drawings. Fully rendered pencil drawings that are so well detailed you want to pick up a pencil right then. |
