"Conditioned by the Laugh Track" is the Sloppy Meateaters junior full-length album release, but where the first two full-lengths were incredibly similar this album jumps far forward, more than 2 years into the future when the lead singer has lived what appears to be a much more complicated and perhaps eye-opening life.

Overall, I really enjoyed the album. The vocal and guitar style are very much unique to their contemporary competitors. The solo on "Napolean" sounds great. One could call it a Velvet Underground meets pop punk and beyond rock stylings. The album includes movie soundbytes including a song about Slaughterhouse-Five as did the band's previous release. This album is also has a much more political/philisophical and with no other word to decribe it but trippy tone, particularly the dialog after the song "Stop".

Regrettably this was the be the last album of the band. Nothing in my opinion, made by the members of the band and other bands within recent years can compare to the greatness of this album. From start to end just great, go buy it!

It's got some good cuts, but does it come anywhere near Forbidden Meat? Hell no. Forbidden Meat is and always will be one of the greatest punk rock records ever released. In this effort, Josh is the only original member, and he changed his singing style to sound more like Alkaline Trio. Again, I enjoyed a great number of the tracks on here, but I think Josh should personally stop trying his push his politics and start writing great music once again, instead of being an arrogant @$$hole.

Who would have thought that the Sloppy Meateaters would still be rocking our faces off after their, somewhat, immaturish early releases? "Conditioned by the Laugh Track" is by far their best CD to date. Every song is up to par and you can't help but just sit and listen to the entire album in a dreamy state of Rockdom. It's a must buy!!
