It is well designed and fits perfectly for me, couldn't ask for anything more for the price.
Great fit- I bought the SM for my small body and long arms and the fit is great.
Both the SPEC OPS and the PHANTOM are well worth their money, but the PHANTOM really takes the cake for me.

Product Description

The Condor Summit Soft Shell Jacket is practical and extremely lightweight outer garment featuring a three layer integrated shell fabric technology. Because the jacket's fabric contains billions of microscopic pores smaller than a raindrop but hundred times larger than a molecule of water it easily wicks moisture from the body but prevents water penetration at the same time. Moreover it maintains and circulates body heat thanks to shell's breathable abilities.
The jacket comes with full front two-way YKK zipper closure with easy to grip pull tab, fleece liner and the stow-away hood, hidden inside lined stand-up collar, which can be easily adjusted without removing hands from the pockets by means of two internal drawstrings located in both front pockets. It also features two inner zip pockets, adjustable waistband drawstring and two chest pockets with zippers, internal sleeve pockets, D-rings and rubber headphones passage holes. On the back of the Summit jacket there is a concealed pass trough pocket, backed with air mesh and with two zipped side openings with pull tabs for quick and easy reach.
Each sleeve of this unique jacket comes with adjustable Velcro wrist cuff, reinforced forearm, underarm vent zipper for temperature control, large 4"x4" Velcro patch panel and shoulder pocket with zip closure, D-rings and rubberized passage holes for headphones. Additionally the left sleeve features a small zipped forearm pocket.
Primarily designed for tactical scenarios this durable and extremely comfortable Summit soft shell jacket is also ideal for walking, trekking, hiking or travelling, and will keep its user warm and dry whatever the weather.

Ok, folks. I was going to wait to write this review until I've spent a little more time in the field with it. But truthfully I can't wait to rave about this thing. I originally ordered the Rothco Special Ops Jacket, the very similar one with a hood, but realized I had made a mistake. Reading reviews on the Rothco, I knew that the hood was not what I wanted, nor did I not like the idea of hand pockets located on bottom front of the jacket. So I immediately ordered the PHANTOM after more research. As it turns out, I received both jackets on the same day, but a mere 6 days after ordering them! (I'm in afghanistan. The estimated delivery date was a approx 90 days!! Very very pleased with this.)

SO! With both jackets laid out before me, I went to town examining every difference and similarity. I will discuss herein.

First, the outer material. Both jackets seem pretty rugged and durable, but I'm not sure they will keep you dry in torrental rain, but confident it will keep you dry in lighter stuff. Exactly what I need, being I have a XL military issued GORE-TEX if the sky decides to dump on me.

Second, the inside material. Both jacket provide super soft fleece. Some have said the ventilation ziper irritates them while wearing short sleeves. Not to discredit them, but this is not the case with mine. No problems with irritation as of yet.

Third, Pockets. Both jackets are loaded with pockets, but heres where they differ greatly. The Spec Ops shell has zippered pockets located on the front upper (pectoral level) of the jacket and they are deep. They fall almost down to the abdominal range, which in my mind is rather flawed in design.

Great jacket. Almost everything you could ask for except side hand pockets. Alot of thought went into designing this. I received the jacket in my standard sized mail box so it shows that it can be packed easily. Very warm, comfortable and breathable. I am 5'11" and 180lbs. I usually fit in between a large and medium jacket so this in large was perfect and didn't feel cramped when I put a fleece on under it. Nice thing is the jacket is some type of stretch material so it moves with you. As far as water proof, I only tried it in a drizzle at about 30 degrees but I did not get wet and I stayed warm with a T-shirt. I will be getting the coyote version next. Ruger lcp fits in the top arm pockets and my streamlight clips into the inside pocket. My wallet fits in the lower arm pocket. Usually keep my fleece hat and gloves in the rear pocket. Chest pockets have organizer slots and D rings for pen, tablet etc. Ports in every pocket for headphones. Hood zips out of collar. Elastic draw chords on waist do not slip like some jackets i have. I almost bought the 5.11 version of this jacket for $250. I am glad I didn't since this actually fits and looks better on me for $160 less. You could buy three of these for one 5.11........ so I think I will.

I've had this Summit soft shell Jacket for a couple of months now & feel confident that I can give a fair review. The jacket is great to look at & is comfortable enough. Plenty of well placed pockets & the main zipper is a bit weak but acceptable. I like the cargo? pocket on the back for stowing gloves or my watch cap but when it rains the water comes right through the stitching with no resistance. (I have a photo I will try to post) I wore this jacket in temps down to 55 degrees with a t-shirt & sweatshirt but would certainly not use it on it's own any colder than that. It would probably be best used as a mid-layer. For me the biggest disappointment was that it is not waterproof as it states in the jackets main feature list.

First I'll start off by saying that I really like this jacket, but there are a few things that keep me from loving it. The style is great, material feels good, and it has a s*** ton of pockets. All in all it's very functional but I had to make a few modifications to get it so I could wear it every day.

Features: Almost too many features to list but I will give it a shot: Zippered pockets along both shoulders with, left wrist pocket, high pockets along the chest with internal pouches to keep items from flopping around, and accessory pockets along the lower back/lumbar area. Interior pockets to stash items, zippered cooling vents in the armpits, draw cords and adjustments everywhere. It's even got little things like a piece of soft material to cover the top of the zipper to protect your mouth when zip the collar all the way up.

Materials: The soft shell material just feels nice and I like wearing it. It's not as noisy as other jackets I have and looks professional.

Fit: The fit of this jacket is a little different than what I expected, not bad - just different. It is tighter around the armpit than I would have liked, but not so much that it is uncomfortable. Sleeve length is good and roomy enough to allow for dynamic arm movements. Chest and waist size is good. I am about 5'-7" with an athletic build and the Large fits me just fine.

Quality: In general the quality of this jacket is good. The only area that i am concerned about though is the front zipper. It seems weak and is difficult to get started. Not a problem yet but I am worried that if anything is going to go south on this jacket it is the front zipper. Time will tell.

The biggest design flaw I have found (and its kinda big) is the hood.
