I heard Andrew Hardin at a folk festival where he appeared with Tom Russell and also participated in a guitar workshop. I was so impressed by his playing I bought all his CDs. He is not only a virtuouso on the guitar, but he has great clarity and musicality. The tracks on his CDs that are his own compositions are, in my opinion, his strongest. He has great range and mastery of all musical styles. I am a classically trained guitarist, and I've rarely been quite this impressed.

I bought this CD after seeing Andrew in concert with Tom Russell. His guitar work blew me away in concert, I wanted to hear more! The CD surprised me by being more mellow and low-key than I expected. Several of the songs are Andrew's own compositions. Nothing like instrumentals to really showcase a great guitarist, and he's one.
