These are great! They are historic postcards of Coney Island from the early 20th century. My son proposed to his fiancee there this summer. This is their special place. They enjoyed getting this collection of Coney Island cards.

4.0 out of 5 stars Coney Island postcard book, August 15, 2010

This review is from: Coney Island Postcards: The People's Playground (Cards)
These are excellent reproductions of vintage postcards of two Coney Island sections: Luna Park and Steeplechase. They are exceptionally well produced.

The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that the cover says 32 cards but there are actually 16 different cards with two of each. This information is buried late in the overall description. Not a serious problem at the price, but it should be emphasized more obviously.

Also, for TRIVIA sake, the artist should realize that Luna Park was a competitor of Steeplechase, which was George C. Tilyou's Coney Island venue. All of the cards have a design which implies that they are pictures of Tilyou's Steeplechase

All that said, the cards are great, I love the 16 images.
