This guy loaned me his copy, in his tepid way enthusiastic about it. I devoured it wholly. Karma brought me to this book (bought my own copy, thanks) and I'll fondly remember that guy because of it. To the author, a posthumous thank you Mr. Toole for creating my friend Ignatius and for your brilliant vocabulary and your skillful use of it. Amen.
