3.0 out of 5 stars biased but good, March 20, 2009

This review is from: Confederate Military History of Florida (Paperback)
This book is biased to make JJ Dickison seem like the Robert E Lee of Florida in the civil war. You can tell that the man did not like blacks by the content of the book. Apart from the bias, the book is REALLY good. Good details of some of his raids and other actions throughout Florida in the Civil War. No mention of killing blacks after the battle of Olustee. Very little about the battle of Olustee. There is a lot of detail about natural bridge and st. mark's. Anyone interested in the Civil War in the state of Florida should read this book.
