Great resource for serious student of US History!,

This review is from: Confederate Military History of Mississippi: Mississippi During the Civil War, 1861-1865 (Paperback)
Regardless of your politics or your perspective on the War Between The States (a.k.a., the US Civil War), this series of volumes is a great resource to understand the origins, logic and justification of the southern rebellion against what they considered "northern aggression." This volume is actually one of 12 volumes written by several of the officers who lived the experience, compiled, edited and originally published by General Clement A. Evans in 1899. This is clearly a must read for serious students of US Civil War history, as presented in the words of those who lived it. This republication is one of several that I have encountered in studying this work. Each of the republications presumably presents the same information, albeit with different qualities and photographs.
