My grt-grt grandfather was Gale Wages. My mom was born on the family farm in Covington, Ala. Her maiden name is Wages. Gale Wages was the brains behind the "Clan", and when he and the Preacher were shot/killed during a gunbattle that left the Clan in disarray and under the leadership of a thug. True his mentor was Gale Wages but James Copeland wasn't a leader. I think every family has a history of somekind and the exploits of Gale Wages were not brought up at any of the reunions until I passed out some literature I'd put together. I plan on expanding the history of the family and would appreciate any knowledge of the Wages/Copeland Clan Gang.

The book is family history to me and my family. We are decendants from James Copeland. In fact the name James has been passed down to many of family members.
