This review is from: Confessions of an Accidental Mouseketeer (Paperback)
this is the real stuff on being a child star, Disney, Dustin Hoffman, Bernadette Peters, Eddie Cantor (who?), tons of stars and pics and laughs - but there is serious stuff, like teen suicide and how kid stars have so many problems as adults and who is God anyway?
this guy has no spook writer and tells it like it is - he is very honest and flawed but he works at it and somehow has been married to the same woman for almost forty years? laugh out loud, smile or sit and wonder for a while I got an early copy and I'm going to take a few weeks off and read it again not for children but if you're eighteen or a smart sixteen you may learn something that will help besides, there's more here on the mickey mouse club than I ever knew |
