5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Rock n Roll Record February 19, 2013
By Greg
Format:MP3 Music
Rock is back in a big way with this record! I am a Buckcherry fan, but I admit their last few albums were kind of all similar and slightly below par considering what they've done in the past. But this record is just amazing. You can tell the band spent a lot more time and took a methodical approach in writing and recording these songs. It's a lot more heavy and melodic than anything they've done, and I like that. Huge hooks, heavy guitar riffs, and well written lyrics are present on every song. If you like real rock n roll, you will love this record. Thank god Buckcherry is carrying the torch for rock n roll in 2013, because there is really no one else.

5.0 out of 5 stars I confess that this album rocks February 19, 2013
Format:Audio CD
I like the theme behind the album and the music is great as well. I don't need an album filled with hit singles, I just want good music that flows from song to song. That would be what an album should be and that is what this album does. I like Buckcherry and this album belongs up there among their best efforts.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Album Rocks!!! February 20, 2013
Format:MP3 Music
Buckcherry's new album confessions is a rocking roller coaster of a ride. Great guitar riffs and lyrics. Anyone who enjoys Rock music will really enjoy this album. There is some language on it but despite that what a great album. Not one bad song on it. So if you want a good rock album this one will do the trick!

4.0 out of 5 stars Buckcherry's best effort to date. February 24, 2013
Format:MP3 Music
I reserve a 5 star review for the albums that fall in the classic category. This is a very good Buckcherry release. I like it for what it contains as opposed to what it does not. I have every Buckcherry release to date and their is a common thread that ties each and every record together, their all out, hard edge, raunchy style. While Confessions contains several songs that fit into this category, it also contains songs that do not. Songs like Greed and Water are a new and refreshing style for this band. They give this album texture that you won't find on the other Buckcherry releases. Confessions shows the hooks and riffs that are Buckcherry's trademark but it also contains the best songwriting by this band to date.

If you've been a fan of BC,this shouldn't keep you from going forward with them.Gluttony is as catchy as they get,Wrath,The Truth,Greed,Water,Air,Sloth,Envy and Dreamin of You are all standout favorites...Along with two awesome rockers on the deluxe edition... Get it now and be prepared to be rocked!!!! \m/ Aloha!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it February 23, 2013
By Joseph
Format:MP3 Music|Verified Purchase
I haven't listened to Buckcherry since their debut and with a lack of good hard rock in the tradition of GnR and Motley Crue I gave this a go and I'm glad I did. It's a solid hard rock record with great tunes and performances, a nice amount of bitchin' guitar solos, and a cool, loose concept that brings it all together nicely. Most importantly, it rocks. \m/

I just watched this band perform live, February 13, 2013 on Kid Rock's "Rebel Soul" Tour, and they really rocked the songs on this album CD. They are a fantastic live band, and this CD is a great new "Hard Rocking" release from Buckcherry.

The DVD portion is mostly documentary in nature.

If you like Hard Rock &/or Buckcherry, you should like this new release. Thanks, & Rock On!!!!!

I remember the days when the self titled album was released. It was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise fairly dreary radio wasteland of crap alternative rock. Read more

Buckcherry is awsome and this cd lives up to what you would expect. Edgy, speak their mind, uninhibited rock and roll.
